The purpose of the mission was to bring the light of the Gospel to the 30 spirited members of the Wema Football Club, a cherished local team. Faith Blossoms: A Miraculous Transformation Under the radiant African sky, this missionary shared the teachings of Jesus with these aspiring athletes. The result was nothing short of miraculous – all 30 members bowed their heads and earnestly prayed to accept Jesus as their Lord and personal Saviour. A Crucial Question: Do You Have Bibles? Recognizing the importance of nurturing their newfound faith, the missionary asked a crucial question: “Do you have Bibles?” Regrettably, only a handful of them did. A Lifeline Extended: GIFT Foundation Steps In With unwavering determination, the missionary reached out to the Great Innovation Foundation for Transformation (GIFT). This pivotal moment marked the beginning of an extraordinary collaboration between GIFT Foundation and its compassionate sponsors. Gifts of Enlightenment: Bibles from New Hampshire Through their combined efforts, GIFT Foundation secured a generous donation of Bibles from the New Hampshire Bible Society. On August 24th, 2023, the football team received these treasured Bibles. The atmosphere was electric with gratitude, excitement, and joy as each player held the Word of God in their hands. It was a day etched in the collective memory of GIFT Foundation and the entire football team. The Power of Transformation: Faith Nurtured These Bibles are more than just books; they are vessels of transformation, containing the boundless power of the Gospel. With these newfound resources, the young athletes will continue to deepen their faith through study and reflection.
