We've Provided Meals for More Than 100 African Households
GIFT was born from a heritage of selfless giving and entrepreneurship. The founder, Grateful Itiowe (Legal Practitioner), was inspired by her parents’ charitable acts, built small businesses during university, funded student aid and gospel initiatives.
In 2016, a a life-changing experience at a global gathering sparked the idea for GIFT — afoundation addressing hunger and poverty together. The founder refined this concept during her MBA, creating a business plan that combines agriculture, training, and values.
While in the USA, she got into partnerships with her school (where she got a second Masters), other non-profits, churches, individuals and bible societies. She sent car-loads of donations and relief welfare materials for children, women & the aged, found in various vulnerable Nigerian communities such as Cameroun Internally Displaced Person (IDP) camp, Powe, Babade etc.
Now, in Summer 2023, GIFT embraces agriculture to combat hunger sustainably. Seeking land and funding, to start a 100-acre pilot program, we invite partners, funders, and volunteers to join us in this transformative journey, fostering empowerment and lasting change in the community and beyond.
